At a time when Union minister Anbumani Ramadoss should be doing something to improve the condition of elementary healthcare in the country, he is busy looking for lifestyle targets.
Recently, our health minister met Yoga Guru Ramdev and discussed ways to popularise alternative health care. And the focus of this meeting, we are told, was to spread awareness of yoga in the rural areas. The two agreed upon the views that there must be a concerted effort to combat the spread of alcohol, tobacco, and junk food in the country.
Now, this comes as a complete turnaround to the fact that the minister had recently attacked the guru for his claims that yoga can cure AIDS.
Agreed that yoga is good for health, but shouldn’t our minister shift his focus back to basic health care and the condition of hospitals in the country? what do you have to say?

Our minister Mr ramadoss should atleast focus on the condition of the MCD hospitals and the private hospitals rather than focusing on the yoga which can cure aids. First solve the problem of the conditions of the hospital then only we can cure aids. Like there are thousands of MCD hospitals which have more patients less doctors. There are hardly good medicines available with them. The condition of the hospitals are worse , the walls are littered with pan every . The condition of the toilets are just not up to date. there is always smell coming from the toilets. Who would like to go in such a hospital which could not even maintain themself then how would they maintain the patients. A channel showed how the people just mixed or adulterated and and even sold the milk that is given to the patients not only this they also took half of the gas out of the cylinders and also sold in the market at a price. This is redeculious just tell me what will be the situation of the patients who would eat this kind of food. Even a healthy person can get affected and become unhealthy. Who is responsible for all this ?. Is it the patients fault that they turned up in the MCD hospitals. Many patients get well but after eating the food they get worse. This is the reason why many patients get well but many of them die due to the unhealthy food. Not only this even the private hospitals do. In a tv channel i saw that the hospital management threw a patients body in a ditch as they were unable to save and to save themself from the police inquiry. If this is the situation in the MCD and private hospitals then how would rely on the hospitals and guarantee that we will get cured. Mr Ramadoss , i would request u to please leave aids and its cure as the condition of the hospitals are worse hence many patients are just not dying because of the disease but also from the food and services provided by them. Please solve this problem as fast as possible such that citizens of the country would lose hope in the hospitals.

Very true..and for that matter most of our ministers should focus on their basic and primary job and responsibility. However, these country owners somehow feel that doing their basic job only will remove them from the public focus…that is why the real focus has always been out of focus.
Ramadoss especially needs to be first told not to continue with the legacy left by his predecessors and then explained the meaning of being a minister with a critical portfolio like HEALTH.
He is also forgetting that all our governments have been responsible for encouraging some of the ills Baba Ramdev is talking about and his own government has the responsibility of doing something better.
Unless of course, Ramadoss feels that joining Baba Ramdev will make him a champion of the nation’s health..he can contribute more by banning wine shops, junk food restaurants, all the pizza joints, Macdonalds, KFCs, cigarette companies, sugar mills generating molasses, fruit growers especially grapes and oranges etc..etc.
But then how will our government offer subsidies or loan waivers to buy votes if you take away such lucrative revenue earners.

Its all about glamour and showbizz these days. Those who are inn, are the ones with whom todays public really want to be with. And Baba Ramdev is one those personality who is really the talk of the nation.
Our ministers are really intelligent in the sense that they know when to grab the opportunity for self -interest. Same is the case with our Union minister Mr Ramadoss. For the very own sake when he saw that a person who is neither a bollywood star, nor a cricketor, not even a politician but still has got a Z+ security, just merely on the basis of Yoga, he must have started thinking about himself. He has got no media coverage and no publicity even after being in the union, this would have come to his mind of joining hands with Baba ji. This would benefit him in two ways-
1.) He would obviously get the media attention and publicity.
2.) And ofcourse he would be doing all this during his office hours due to the ministery assigned to him i.e. our health. so no problem of answering to others.
And talking about health conditions, i think these ministers of our country generally keeps the public task at the end in their priority list. When the water rises above the head level, then only they wake up and TRY to work for them. I think its the highest post in our country which needs to think what to do with these kinds of ministers…
